Opportunity Rising is a regional coalition focused on helping more children and families in metro Atlanta build a better future — by connecting the people, ideas, and investments that create greater economic opportunity.
The coalition engages leaders from business, philanthropy, government, nonprofits, education, and the community to better understand the barriers that limit economic mobility, learn from what is working, identify where coordinated action can make a difference, and measure regional progress.
Opportunity Rising is not a new organization or program. Rather, it creates a platform for organizations and leaders across the Atlanta region already advancing economic mobility to share knowledge, strengthen connections, and build on one another's efforts.
The goal is simple: Where you grow up shouldn't determine how far you can go.
